To our valued Corporate Outings
Guests and Picnickers,
Our nation is in the midst of
power and water supply crises, which are interrelated natural resources. Please
join us in contributing our share of conservation for the present, and
sustainability for the future. We have recently measured that actual use of
water for bathing and washing of dinnerware and related items at the Outings
and Picnickers area exceeds 20,000 liters per day.
There are few places these days
that are as clean, natural, orderly, and as peaceful as Virgin Beach Resort. As
a result many among you are repeat customers. Please understand that all of us
concerned should do our share to ensure that you may continue enjoying Virgin
Beach Resort and other places like ours well into the future.
Effective April 28, 2010 we shall
be implementing policies and rules applicable to our Corporate Outings and
Picnicker Guests. The final decision to be subject to any and all fees or
charges stated hereunder is actually your choice. We appeal to your good
senses, that you avoid having to pay such fees and charges by cooperating with
us.
From the period beginning April 28, 2010 to May 30,
2010 we will be providing 1bag per table per group to store the
dinnerware, pans, and related items you have brought with you. We can no
longer afford to allow washing of such in our area. Otherwise, a charge of
P500.00 per table per group for use of our water shall be imposed. May we
advise that you bring disposable dinnerware and related items to avoid the
need for washing next time you come back.
Let us all save on electricity and keep our place
clean. You may do your share by bringing your food already prepared and
ready for grilling. All meats must be brought into our area already sliced
and marinated. Seafood may only be brought in if it is already cleaned.
Vegetables must already be prepared for cooking, so that washing, peeling,
and slicing will be avoided. You may avail of the use of electricity for
purposes of heating food, rather than cooking. There is a prevailing
electrical use charge of P100.00 per hour per appliance. If it is used for
cooking, then we will impose additional charges of P200.00 per hour.
Electrical use charge for small appliances such as the radio, television,
dvd player, electric fan and other such items will remain at P100.00 per
day.
Please observe waste segregation by using the green
bag provided at your parasol for food waste, and the yellow bag for
non-biodegradable materials.
Please observe the 5PM time limit. If you stay on
beyond that time, our staff will not be able to clean up the area while
there is still daylight. Thus, their work is extended through the evening
and we will have to use electrical lighting. Should you decide to stay on
beyond 5 PM, an extension charge of P300.00 per hour per table per group
will be imposed.
Thank you for your cooperation
and involvement in conserving our natural resources.
