PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS

A. Overnight and Day Tour

Reservations may be made through e-mail or telephone. Upon confirmation of the reservation, 100% payment must be made at our Reservation Office or by deposit in our bank account, the details of which will be furnished to you. Reservations are considered confirmed only upon our receipt of the deposit, and in case of payment by bank deposit, our receipt of a copy of the deposit slip with your name clearly indicated therein. Failure to make the deposit within the alotted time may result in the automatic cancellation of your reservation.

To avoid complications, please fax or e-mail us a copy of your deposit slip as soon as possible. For group deposits, the names of the individuals must be indicated on the deposit slip if they will be settling their accounts individually. Your deposit and room reservations will be confirmed by our staff.

Reservations are on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS. Because we have no control as to when guests make deposits, There are times when deposits may be made simultaneously. In such instances, we will reserve the room/s or facility/s based on who sent his/her proof of deposit first.

In the event of simultaneous deposits and we cannot accommodate those who made later deposits, the stay may either be re-scheduled, or refunded within seven (7) working days.

Example: Mr. A and Mr. B made reservations for the same day. Mr. A paid his Reservation Fee through a deposit in our bank on Day 1, but faxed the deposit slip with his name clearly indicated on Day 3. Mr. B, on the other hand, deposited his Reservation Fee on Day 2 and immediately faxed the deposit slip with his name. The reservation of Mr. B would be confirmed and Mr. A would be asked whether he would prefer to re-schedule his reservation or a refund of the Reservation Fee.


B. Walk-in Guests

Walk-in Guests are subject to 100% payment, by cash or credit card, upon check-in.


C. Corporate

50% down payment is required to secure the booking, balance of the account shall be settled 2 weeks prior to the event date. Payment may be made either by check, cash or card at our Makati office or through a bank deposit to our account.


D. Weddings

A non-refundable, non-transferrable reservation fee of P20,000.00 is required to hold the preferred wedding date. This fee is applicable to the 50% down payment payable upon signing of the contract. The remaining balance is to be paid one month prior to the event.

CANCELLATIONS

Changes made to any reservation are subject to availability of facilities and services. VBR cannot guarantee to maintain original quoted price upon rescheduling. VBR reserves the right to adjust prices according to seasonal rate difference, changes in published rates for facilities or corkage fees, and a significant price increase in the market prices of food.

Individual and Corporate

    1. Due to inclement weather (storm signal no. 1 and higher) particularly at the resort area, guests may postpone and re-schedule bookings within three (3) months from the original booking date. Re-scheduling due to storm signal will not be subject to any surcharges and prevailing rates of the new booking date shall apply.

    2. Notice of postponement for reasons other than inclement weather should be made 2 weeks prior to arrival date and will be subject to 20% of the initial deposit. A one-time rescheduling can be arranged and set date should occur within three (3) months of the original date after which, any and all deposits made shall be forfeited.

    3. Any cancellation received within 14 days prior to arrival date will incur a charge of 50% of the booking value. Cancellations made less than 7 days from the check-in date will forfeit the deposit paid.

    4. During peak season, reservations made within 2 weeks of arrival are 100% binding the day after the reservation was made. Any cancellations will be charged the total booking value; payments and all deposits made will be forfeited.

    5. Failure to arrive at the resort will be treated as a no show and no refund will be given.

Weddings

    1. Written notice of postponement should be given 45 days prior to the event. Notice shall include details of the proposed date which should occur within a three (3) month period from the original wedding date, subject to availability of Virgin Beach Resort facilities. Failure to comply shall result in the forfeiture of 50% of the deposit amount.

    2. Cancellation of the event shall result in the forfeiture of the deposit already made by the client.

Refund Policy

For cash payments, a refund check will be issued in 7 working days. For credit card payments, provided the credit card company has not yet issued a refund, a refund check net of credit charges and fees will be issued in 14 working days.
